The National -- Six cloud-seeding missions have been carried out over the country since Monday morning.

They are the first operations to take place this year, the National Centre of Meteorology confirmed to The National on Tuesday.

Half of the operations took place over the eastern and northern parts of the country such as RAK, Fujairah and east of Dubai.

Khaleej Times -- A 35-year-old man allegedly resisted arrest as anti-narcotics police officers executed an arrest warrant, the Dubai Court of First Instance heard on Monday. The Emirati man also allegedly verbally abused the cops and would not obey their orders.

The National -- Emirates and Etihad Airways will share information and intelligence after signing a security pact on Monday.

The agreement — which is the first between the two airlines — involves Emirates Group Security and Etihad Aviation Group working "together on operational areas both within and outside the UAE," according to an Emirates statement.
