Central Asian Countries and IRENA commit to accelerate uptake of renewables in the region

WAM--Countries of Central Asia and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) have released a Communique on accelerating renewable energy deployment in the region.

The Communique was released in the framework of the Energy Ministerial Meeting on the Challenge of Sustainable Energy at the Astana EXPO-2017. Smart travel scheme enabling travelers to use smartphones launched at Dubai International Airport

WAM -- A sophisticated smart scheme enabling travelers to use their smartphones instead of their passport or express gate cards at Dubai International Airport has been launched in the emirate of Dubai .

Jumeirah's Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project (DTRP) rehabilitates 75 turtles

A rare olive ridley sea turtle called Barnacle today checked out of Jumeirah Al Naseem’s turtle rehabilitation lagoon with more than 70 critically endangered hawksbill turtles who headed back home into the waters of the Arabian Gulf.
