Dubai-based flydubai is excited to announce today the roll out of a new uniform as it enters its ninth year of operation. The new design will be worn by more than 2,500 uniformed staff across the flydubai network; including Pilots, Cabin Crew, Training, Engineering and Maintenance staff as well as members of staff at the airport and flydubai Travel Shops.

China Tops International Source Market in Abu Dhabi Hotels in First 5 Months of 2017

In the period January to May, 2017, the emirate of Abu Dhabi recorded nearly 2 million hotel guest arrivals (1,965,436), a 4% growth compared to the same period in 2016, figures released by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) show.

Visa-free system for 2018 World Cup in Russia

Tourists may be able to visit Russia without a securing a visa if they’re travelling to watch two major sports events. Travellers, however, must secure the necessary pass, including a valid ticket, in order to avail themselves of visa-free entry.

It was reported last year that Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the visa-free system for 2018 World Cup fans.

UAE is among top 12 countries for FDI with inflows growing by 2.2 percent in 2016

WAM - The Foreign Direct Investment, FDI, inflows into the UAE grew by 2.2 percent in 2016 to US$9 billion from $8.8 billion in 2015, according to the World Investment Report 2017 released by UN Conference on Trade and Development, UNCTAD, where the UAE is ranked 12th on the list of top countries for FDI for the period from 2017 through 2019, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, has revealed.
