Emirates resumes passenger flights to 9 destinations, including connections between UK and Australia

Emirates has announced its plan to operate scheduled flight services from 21 May to nine destinations: London Heathrow Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Chicago, Toronto, Sydney and Melbourne.* The airline will also offer connections in Dubai for customers travelling between the UK and Australia.

Coronavirus: UAE records 781 new cases and 13 deaths

Abu Dhabi: The UAE has announced 781 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, the highest number of cases detected in a day for UAE.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) also reported 13 COVID-19 related deaths in the country. The deceased, who are of various nationalities, suffered from pre-existing chronic illnesses coinciding with the coronavirus, which resulted in complications that led to their death.

The pregnant woman was admitted to Al Zahra Hospital in Dubai on May 2 with a positive diagnosis for COVID-19. She was 37 weeks pregnant. The expected date of delivery was May 19, but after only three days in the hospital, the baby arrived safely.The baby boy weighing 3.18kg was born to 25-year-old Indian mother on May 5.
