China has extended its visa-free regime for Russian citizens until the end of 2027, according to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The decision is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen tourism, business, and cultural ties between the two countries.

The visa-free regime applies to organized tourist groups and allows Russian travelers to visit China without obtaining a visa, provided the travel conditions are met. The program, which resumed after the pandemic, has already contributed to growing tourist traffic between Russia and China.

According to tourism industry representatives, China remains one of the most in-demand destinations among Russian travelers due to simplified entry procedures, expanding flight connections, and increasing interest in cultural, dining, and medical tourism.

The extension of the visa-free regime through the end of 2027 is expected to further stimulate tourism and business activity between the two countries. Experts also note that the decision could positively impact the growth of joint projects in trade, education, and investment.
