Jimmy Choo showcases Icons collection in Dubai

The Jimmy Choo Icons event took place in order to celebrate the Icons Collection and to showcase both the original icons and their newly interpreted counterparts. The Iconic Collection is a capsule collection of shoes inspired by the most significant creations from the company’s archives. These Modern interpretations of classic designs represent the iconic glamour of Jimmy Choo today.

Guests were invited to the Pavilion Downtown where the space had been transformed for the evening with the Icons Collection on display in glass cases each containing a pair of shoes, guests were able to read a synopsis and inspiration for each. The backdrop of two white walls with the Icons images projected upon them providing a dramatic ambience. A DJ played to the crowd as they mingled and enjoyed cocktails and canapés with quite a few showing off their own favourite pair of Jimmy Choos.

The Icons Collection has been on display around the world in cities such as Moscow and New York, and with the exhibition coming to Dubai it gave Jimmy Choo fans a chance to enjoy the heritage of the brand and story behind this special capsule collection. Also on display was the book created to commemorate the 15^th anniversary of the brand titled ‘XV’ and published by Rizzoli which documents images from the most well known campaigns, shot by numerous renowned photographers.
