The all-electric Jaguar I-PACE has been voted ‘Car of the Year’ at the European Car of the Year Awards 2019. This is the first time a Jaguar has won the coveted prize.

Known as the "Dhabiyan", the giant truck was built using sections of a Jeep Wrangler, Dodge Dart and the rig of an Oshkosh M1075 military truck.

The ridiculous creation is the brainchild of sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, well known car collector.

According to his Instagram account, he purchased the former US military transporter before stripping it back and adding the Wrangler on top as the driver compartment.

Seen for the first time, pictures have been released of the two Emirati astronauts, Hazza Al Mansouri and Sultan Al Neyadi, undergoing winter survival training.

The three-day training was organised by the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre in Zvezdini at a forest in the Russian capital Moscow. It prepared the astronauts to survive in harsh winter conditions ahead of a trip to the International Space Station later this year in case of a crash landing in a hostile environment.
