WAM -- The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has declared Sunday, October 2nd, 2016, an official paid holiday for all private sector employees in the UAE to celebrate the coming Islamic New Year, Al Hijri 1438.

Saqr bin Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, made the announcement following provisions of Article 74 of Federal Law No. 08 of 1980 concerning labour relations and its amendments.

WAM--Dubai Police have launched a smart app, the first of its kind in the region, to combat human trafficking through helping victims and monitoring these crimes.
