The site of Expo 2020 will transform into an ecosystem to encourage the growth of the UAE’s knowledge economy, according to plans unveiled at the 15th edition of Cityscape Global which opened today at the Dubai World Trade Centre and will run upto 8th September 2016. The Private Sector will get three days holidays for Eid Al Adha from Sept. 11 to 13, 2016 it was announced on Sunday Sept. 4 2016 in a circular issued by Saqr Gobash, Minister of Emiratisation and Human Resources.

Earlier in the day, the Public Sector’s holidays were approved during a Cabinet meeting chaired by HH Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Chinese visitors to the UAE to get visas on arrival

Chinese visitors to the UAE will now be granted visas on arrival, the UAE Cabinet announced on Sunday, 5 Sept. 2016

HH Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai said, “We have approved a decision to grant visas on arrival at the country’s airports to visitors from the People’s Republic of China.”
