The Roads and Transport Authority's (RTA) Rail Agency has announced tram and metro changes to take effect on November 1, which will coincide with Public Transport Day.

Al Maktoum Bridge will be closed for 8 hours every Friday for a month starting next week while the Roads and Transport Authority carries out maintenance work.
The bridge will be closed to road and marine traffic between the hours of 1am and 9am from October 27 to November 24.
Marine traffic will also be limited to Sunday and Thursdays between 1am and 5am.
