CNN – The calm of Easter Sunday was shattered by gruesome bombings that killed at least 290 people in Sri Lankan churches and hotels.

Thousands of millionaires flocked to UAE in 2018, wealth report reveals

Thousands of millionaires relocated to the UAE last year, a new global wealth report has revealed.

The 2019 Global Wealth Migration Report says the number of millionaires moving to the UAE increased by 2 per cent from 2017.

The report, published by AfrAsia Bank and New World Wealth, says Dubai was one of the most popular locations and attracted more than 1,000 millionaires from outside the country.

Foundation stone laid for first traditional Hindu temple in UAE

The foundation stone for the first traditional Hindu Temple was laid in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

The 'Shilanyas Vidhi' ceremony was presided over by Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha - the religious and social organisation building the temple.

WAM -- Emirates Airline has announced that it completed the reconfiguration of its last Boeing 777-200LR aircraft. Emirates invested US$150 million in converting the ten Boeing 777-200LR aircraft in its fleet from three to two class cabins featuring wider Business class seats in a 2-2-2 format and a fully refreshed economy class cabin.

US Air Force sends next generation fighter jets to UAE

The US Air Force has deployed F-35A Lightning II stealth fighters to the Middle East for the first time.

The jets arrived at Al Dhafra Air Base in Abu Dhabi earlier this week and are ready to be sent on missions across the region.
