Putin Meets Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

June 1, 2018 Vladimir Putin received in the Kremlin Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is in Russia on a working visit.

They discussed the further development of trade between Russia and the UAE, economic and investment cooperation, the current energy situation, and pressing international and regional issues.

Abu Dhabi's Hudayriat Island opens beach

The long-awaited Hudayriat Island development welcomed its first visitor attraction in just a few hours as a new beach opens to the public.

Located opposite Al Bateen Beach, and reached through a cable suspension bridge previously known as the "bridge to nowhere", Hudayriat is expected to add 30 kilometres of waterfront to Abu Dhabi. It will also later include residential units for Emiratis, along with commercial and leisure attractions.

People with special needs or disabilities are eligible for free taxi rides in Dubai for the remainder of the year.

Dubai Taxi Corporation announced its initiative "Al Khair Ride", meaning the ride of goodwill on Saturday.

Ilya Urazakov to head Kazakh Invest Office in Dubai

Ilya Urazakov, previously acting as managing director, has been appointed by the decision of the Board of Directors of Kazakh Invest National Company JSC its representative to the United Arab Emirates.

Urazakov born in 1983 is a graduate of the Washington Secondary School (the U.S.), Institute of International Relations of the Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages (Faculty of IEA). He is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, English and German.
