WAM -- Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State met Zhang Yesui, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, in Beijing on Saturday.

The meeting took place during Dr. Al Jaber ’s official visit to China to attend the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, in Beijing. The ministers discussed the growing cooperation in trade and investment between the UAE and China, particularly in the fields of energy and infrastructure.

Emirates Group records 29th consecutive year of profit

The Emirates Group today announced its 29th consecutive year of profit and steady business expansion, despite a turbulent year for aviation and travel.

Released today in its 2016-17 Annual Report, the Emirates Group posted an AED 2.5 billion (US$ 670 million) profit for the financial year ending 31 March 2017, down 70% from last year’s record profit.
