The world’s wealthiest individuals are on a roll with billionaires in Asia leading the pack.

The National -- Dubai Zoo is to close on Sunday November 5 in preparation for the opening of Dubai Safari Park.

The zoo has been open in Jumeirah for 50 years and most of the animals will be moved to the new safari project.

The National -- If you're an early morning public transport user, you're in luck: the Dubai Metro and tram will now start their daily service earlier.

The Roads and Transport Authority's (RTA) Rail Agency has announced tram and metro changes to take effect on November 1, which will coincide with Public Transport Day.

CNBC -- Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday a $500 billion plan to build a business and industrial zone that links with Jordan and Egypt, the biggest effort yet to free the kingdom from dependence on oil exports.

The National -- Soon you will be able to take a water taxi between Louvre Abu Dhabi and some of the city's top attractions.

Abu Dhabi Ports and ferry company Jalboot Marine on Tuesday signed a deal to begin trips to the museum that is opening on November 11.

Al Maktoum Bridge in Dubai to be closed for maintenance

Al Maktoum Bridge will be closed for 8 hours every Friday for a month starting next week while the Roads and Transport Authority carries out maintenance work.

The bridge will be closed to road and marine traffic between the hours of 1am and 9am from October 27 to November 24.

Marine traffic will also be limited to Sunday and Thursdays between 1am and 5am.
