Khaleej Times -- Ras Al Khaimah is well on its way to achieving its 900,000 visitor target for 2017, the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) has said.

Khaleej Times -- A gang of four robbers in Dubai sold a Ferrari worth Dh1.2 million for Dh200,000. The police arrested them just before they could dismantle the car and ship it abroad.

Dh500 fine for stopping vehicles to pray on roadside

Motorists who park on the side of the road for praying will be fined Dh500, a senior official of Dubai Police told Gulf News on Sunday.

Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, director of Traffic Department at Dubai Police, said that roadside parking is a dangerous offence and can result in deadly accidents especially on highways.
