Libyan rescuers find dozens of bodies after 'worst' migrant tragedy this year

Rescue workers on Saturday were looking for more bodies from a migrant boat capsize off Libya that a UN official has called "the worst Mediterranean tragedy of this year", with at least 62 confirmed deaths so far.

New road toll charges to be introduced in Abu Dhabi

Motorists in Abu Dhabi will have to pay new road toll charges from October 15 this year, transport officials have announced.

The scheme, similar to Dubai’s Salik system which has been in place since 2007, will be rolled out across the UAE capital at four tollgates.

The cashless system will be set up so drivers are automatically charged electronically.

A Paris court ordered the winding up of the loss-making brand founded by the "Queen of Knits" Rykiel, an icon of 1960s revolt against the fashion establishment.

A UAE domestic worker who used a string of social media accounts to spread the ideology of terror group ISIS has been jailed for ten years and ordered to pay a Dh2 million fine.
